The annual, roughly nine-day pilgrimage at the end of summer provides a cross-sectional picture of the character of the Czech landscape and offers a unique opportunity to meet people who live in the landscape and care for it. The pilgrimage is also a tribute to poets and visual artists who turned to the non-human world and thematized the soulful nature of the living earth in their work. It is a process of conscious creation, a dive into the inner self and an opportunity to revive a silent dialogue with the landscape, to establish a bond with nature and consciously thank it once in a while.
