Alnoor Ladha je spisovatel, aktivista a spoluzakladatel The Rules, glob\u00e1ln\u00edho kolektivu spisovatel\u016f, myslitel\u016f, program\u00e1tor\u016f, zem\u011bd\u011blc\u016f, um\u011blc\u016f a aktivist\u016f v\u0161ech druh\u016f, zam\u011b\u0159en\u00e9ho na \u0159e\u0161en\u00ed z\u00e1kladn\u00edch p\u0159\u00ed\u010din nerovnosti a chudoby. Je tak\u00e9 p\u0159edsedou spr\u00e1vn\u00ed rady <em>Culture Hack Labs<\/em>. Martin Kirk je \u0159editelem The Rules a spoluautorem knihy <em>Finding Frames: New Ways to Engage the UK Public in Global Poverty. <\/em>P\u0159eklad eseje: Ji\u0159\u00ed Zem\u00e1nek.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Co kdybychom v\u00e1m \u0159ekli, \u017ee je lidstvo na pokraji vyhynut\u00ed kv\u016fli nemoci? \u017de ve\u0161ker\u00e1 chudoba, klimatick\u00e1 katastrofa, neust\u00e1l\u00e9 v\u00e1lky a konzumn\u00ed feti\u0161ismus, kter\u00e9 v\u0161ude kolem sebe vid\u00edme, maj\u00ed ko\u0159eny v&nbsp;masov\u00e9 psychologick\u00e9 infekci? Co kdybychom pokra\u010dovali a \u0159ekli, \u017ee tato infekce je nejen vysoce naka\u017eliv\u00e1, ale \u017ee se tak\u00e9 podle z\u00e1kon\u016f kulturn\u00ed evoluce sama replikuje a \u017ee z\u016fst\u00e1v\u00e1 v&nbsp;na\u0161\u00ed psychice tak skryt\u00e1, \u017ee v\u011bt\u0161ina hostitel\u016f v&nbsp;d\u016fsledku sv\u00e9ho infikovan\u00e9ho stavu vehementn\u011b pop\u00edr\u00e1, \u017ee jsou naka\u017eeni? Co kdybychom v\u00e1m pak \u0159ekli, \u017ee tento \u201evirus mysli\u201c &nbsp;lze popsat jako formu kanibalismu? Ano, kanibalismu. Ne nutn\u011b v&nbsp;doslovn\u00e9m smyslu poj\u00edd\u00e1n\u00ed masa, ale sp\u00ed\u0161e ve smyslu konzumace lidsk\u00fdch i nelidsk\u00fdch druh\u00fdch jako prost\u0159edku k&nbsp;zaji\u0161t\u011bn\u00ed osobn\u00edho bohatstv\u00ed a osobn\u00ed nadvl\u00e1dy.<br>M\u016f\u017eete tento zp\u016fsob uva\u017eov\u00e1n\u00ed odm\u00edtnout jako new age bl\u00e1boly nebo, h\u016f\u0159e, jako levicovou konspira\u010dn\u00ed teorii. Nicm\u00e9n\u011b tento p\u0159\u00edstup, kter\u00fd pova\u017euje p\u0159enos my\u0161lenek za kl\u00ed\u010dov\u00fd determinant vznikaj\u00edc\u00ed reality, je st\u00e1le v\u00edce potvrzov\u00e1n r\u016fzn\u00fdmi v\u011bdn\u00edmi obory, v\u010detn\u011b evolu\u010dn\u00ed teorie, kvantov\u00e9 fyziky, kognitivn\u00ed lingvistiky i epigenetiky.<br>Historie t\u00e9to infekce je dlouh\u00e1, podivn\u00e1 a temn\u00e1. Ale vede k&nbsp;nad\u011bji.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-large-font-size wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Viry mysli<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Nov\u00fd sv\u011bt nepadl me\u010dem, ale memem.   &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;  <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2013 Daniel Quinn<sup>2<\/sup><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Jednou z&nbsp;nejv\u00edce uzn\u00e1van\u00fdch v\u011bdeck\u00fdch teori\u00ed, kter\u00e1 pom\u00e1h\u00e1 vysv\u011btlit s\u00edlu \u0161\u00ed\u0159en\u00ed my\u0161lenek, je memetika.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Memy jsou pro kulturu t\u00edm, \u010d\u00edm jsou pro biologii geny: z\u00e1kladn\u00ed jednotkou evoluce. Tento term\u00edn poprv\u00e9 pou\u017eil evolu\u010dn\u00ed biolog Richard Dawkins v&nbsp;roce 1976 ve sv\u00e9 knize <em>The Selfish Gene (Sobeck\u00fd gen)<\/em>. Dawkins v&nbsp;n\u00ed p\u00ed\u0161e: \u201eMysl\u00edm, \u017ee se v&nbsp;posledn\u00ed dob\u011b objevil nov\u00fd druh replik\u00e1toru. St\u00e1le se je\u0161t\u011b neohraban\u011b pohybuje ve sv\u00e9 prav\u011bk\u00e9 pol\u00e9vce, ale dosahuje u\u017e evolu\u010dn\u00edch zm\u011bn tempem, kter\u00e9 nech\u00e1v\u00e1 star\u00e9 geny daleko za sebou.\u201c D\u00e1le pokra\u010duje: \u201eP\u0159\u00edklady mem\u016f jsou melodie, my\u0161lenky, slogany, m\u00f3dn\u00ed oble\u010den\u00ed, zp\u016fsoby v\u00fdroby hrnc\u016f nebo stav\u011bn\u00ed oblouk\u016f. Stejn\u011b jako se v&nbsp;genofondu \u0161\u00ed\u0159\u00ed geny t\u00edm, \u017ee p\u0159eskakuj\u00ed z&nbsp;t\u011bla do t\u011bla prost\u0159ednictv\u00edm spermi\u00ed nebo vaj\u00ed\u010dek, tak se v&nbsp;memofondu \u0161\u00ed\u0159\u00ed memy t\u00edm zp\u016fsobem, \u017ee p\u0159eskakuj\u00ed z&nbsp;mozku do mozku prost\u0159ednictv\u00edm procesu, kter\u00fd lze v&nbsp;\u0161ir\u0161\u00edm smyslu nazvat imitac\u00ed.\u201c<sup>3<\/sup><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Jeden z&nbsp;nejvy\u0161\u0161\u00edch kn\u011b\u017e\u00ed racionalismu, v\u011bdeck\u00e9 metody a ateismu je tedy tak\u00e9 otcem konceptu \u201ememy\u201c. Av\u0161ak stejn\u011b jako v\u0161echny memy \u010di my\u0161lenky ani tyto memy nemohou m\u00edt v&nbsp;tradi\u010dn\u00edm slova smyslu vlastn\u00edka, pouze propojen\u00ed, kter\u00e9, jak n\u00e1m to p\u0159ipom\u00edn\u00e1 kvantov\u00e1 fyzika, charakterizuje na\u0161e vz\u00e1jemn\u00e9 interakce.<sup>4<\/sup><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Samoz\u0159ejm\u011b, podobn\u00e9 p\u0159edstavy o tom, jak se mezi n\u00e1mi pohybuj\u00ed a \u0161\u00ed\u0159\u00ed my\u0161lenky, existuj\u00ed v&nbsp;z\u00e1padn\u00ed tradici u\u017e po stalet\u00ed. Byl to Plat\u00f3n, kdo je jako prvn\u00ed pln\u011b formuloval ve sv\u00e9 teorii forem, kter\u00e1 tvrd\u00ed, \u017ee nehmotn\u00e9 formy \u2013 tj. my\u0161lenky \u2013 p\u0159edstavuj\u00ed dokonalou realitu, z&nbsp;n\u00ed\u017e je odvozena hmotn\u00e1 realita.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Modern\u00ed vyj\u00e1d\u0159en\u00ed teorie forem lze naj\u00edt v&nbsp;my\u0161lence Pierre Teilhard de Chardina o noosf\u00e9\u0159e (sf\u00e9\u0159e lidsk\u00e9ho my\u0161len\u00ed) a v&nbsp;kolektivn\u00edm nev\u011bdom\u00ed Carla Junga, kde jsou struktury nev\u011bdom\u00ed sd\u00edleny mezi bytostmi stejn\u00e9ho druhu. Pro Junga byla p\u0159edstava z\u00e1\u0161kodnick\u00e9ho kanibala nejprve archetypem, kter\u00fd se projevuje ve hmotn\u00e9m sv\u011bt\u011b prost\u0159ednictv\u00edm \u010din\u016f t\u011bch, kte\u0159\u00ed je v&nbsp;sob\u011b soust\u0159e\u010fuj\u00ed nebo zt\u011bles\u0148uj\u00ed.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Pro ty, kte\u0159\u00ed d\u00e1vaj\u00ed p\u0159ednost empirick\u00e9mu p\u0159\u00edstupu k&nbsp;v\u011bd\u011b, nab\u00edz\u00ed dnes ur\u010ditou intelektu\u00e1ln\u00ed oporu rostouc\u00ed obor epigenetiky. Epigenetika studuje zm\u011bny v&nbsp;organismech, kter\u00e9 byly zp\u016fsobeny modifikac\u00ed genov\u00e9 exprese <sup>1\/<\/sup>, tedy nikoli fyzickou zm\u011bnou samotn\u00e9ho genu. Jin\u00fdmi slovy, to, jak se li\u0161\u00ed vlastnosti od generace k&nbsp;generaci, nen\u00ed pouze ot\u00e1zka materi\u00e1ln\u00ed biologie, ale je to \u010d\u00e1ste\u010dn\u011b ur\u010deno environment\u00e1ln\u00edmi a kontextov\u00fdmi faktory, kter\u00e9 ovlivnily na\u0161e p\u0159edky a kter\u00e9 jsou pot\u00e9 aktivov\u00e1ny v&nbsp;na\u0161\u00ed vlastn\u00ed genetick\u00e9 sekvenci prost\u0159ednictv\u00edm ud\u00e1lost\u00ed v&nbsp;na\u0161em \u017eivot\u011b.<sup>5<\/sup><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-large-font-size wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Virus <\/strong><strong><em>Wetiko<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Velk\u00e9 otev\u0159en\u00e9 pl\u00e1n\u011b, kr\u00e1sn\u00e9 zvln\u011bn\u00e9 kopce a klikat\u00edc\u00ed se potoky s&nbsp;hustou vegetac\u00ed jsme nepova\u017eovali za \u201edivok\u00e9\u201c. Jen pro b\u00edl\u00e9ho mu\u017ee byla p\u0159\u00edroda \u201edivo\u010dinou\u201c a pouze pro n\u011bj byla zem\u011b zaplavena \u201edivok\u00fdmi\u201c zv\u00ed\u0159aty a \u201edivok\u00fdmi\u201c lidmi. Pro n\u00e1s byla zem\u011b m\u00edrn\u00e1. Byla \u0161t\u011bdr\u00e1 a my jsme byli obklopeni po\u017eehn\u00e1n\u00edm Velk\u00e9ho Mysteria. Teprve kdy\u017e p\u0159i\u0161li z&nbsp;v\u00fdchodu chlupat\u00ed mu\u017ei a s&nbsp;brut\u00e1ln\u00ed zu\u0159ivost\u00ed n\u00e1s a na\u0161e milovan\u00e9 rodiny zahrnuli nespravedlnost\u00ed, to pro n\u00e1s bylo \u201edivok\u00e9\u201c. \u00a0 <\/em><em> <\/em><em> <\/em><em> <\/em><em> <\/em>\u2013 Luther Stoj\u00edc\u00ed Medv\u011bd, Zem\u011b skvrnit\u00e9ho orla<sup>6<\/sup><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Mnoho duchovn\u00edch tradic, v\u010detn\u011b buddhismu, s\u00fafismu (mystick\u00e9 v\u011btve isl\u00e1mu), taoismu, gnosticismu, stejn\u011b jako mnoho domorod\u00fdch kultur u\u017e dlouho ch\u00e1pe mysl jako z\u00e1klad stvo\u0159en\u00ed. Tyto sv\u011btov\u00e9 n\u00e1zory maj\u00ed ve sv\u00e9m j\u00e1dru uzn\u00e1n\u00ed s\u00edly my\u0161lenkov\u00fdch forem, kter\u00e9 ur\u010duj\u00ed pr\u016fb\u011bh fyzick\u00fdch ud\u00e1lost\u00ed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">R\u016fzn\u00e9 tradice severoamerick\u00fdch domorod\u00fdch n\u00e1rod\u016f maj\u00ed specifick\u00e9 a dlouho zaveden\u00e9 pov\u011bsti t\u00fdkaj\u00edc\u00ed se kanibalismu a term\u00edn <em>wetiko<\/em> pro my\u0161lenkovou formu, kter\u00e1 jej zp\u016fsobuje. Domn\u00edv\u00e1m se, \u017ee pochopen\u00ed t\u00e9to my\u0161lenky nab\u00edz\u00ed \u00fa\u010dinn\u00fd zp\u016fsob, jak porozum\u011bt nejhlub\u0161\u00edm ko\u0159en\u016fm sou\u010dasn\u00e9 glob\u00e1ln\u00ed polykrize.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em><\/em><em>Wetiko<\/em> je algonkinsk\u00e9 slovo pro kanibalistick\u00e9ho ducha, kter\u00fd je poh\u00e1n\u011bn chamtivost\u00ed, nadm\u011brnost\u00ed a sobeckou spot\u0159ebou (v&nbsp;jazyce Od\u017eibwej\u016f se mu \u0159\u00edk\u00e1 <em>windigo, <\/em>v jazyce Powhatan\u016f je naz\u00fdv\u00e1n <em>wintiko<\/em>). Sv\u00e9 hostitele klame t\u00edm, \u017ee je p\u0159esv\u011bd\u010duje, \u017ee kanibalismus, tedy vys\u00e1v\u00e1n\u00ed \u017eivotn\u00ed s\u00edly druh\u00fdch (druh\u00fdch v&nbsp;\u0161ir\u0161\u00edm smyslu, v\u010detn\u011b zv\u00ed\u0159at a ostatn\u00edch forem \u017eivota na Zemi), je logick\u00fd a mor\u00e1ln\u011b spr\u00e1vn\u00fd zp\u016fsob \u017eivota.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em><\/em><em>Wetiko<\/em> zkratuje schopnost jedince vn\u00edmat sebe sama jako propojenou a vz\u00e1jemn\u011b z\u00e1vislou sou\u010d\u00e1st vyv\u00e1\u017een\u00e9ho prost\u0159ed\u00ed a povy\u0161uje sobeck\u00e9 ego na nejvy\u0161\u0161\u00ed hodnotu. Pr\u00e1v\u011b toto fale\u0161n\u00e9 odd\u011blen\u00ed sebe sama od p\u0159\u00edrody z&nbsp;toho \u010din\u00ed kanibalismus sp\u00ed\u0161 ne\u017e prostou vra\u017edu. Umo\u017e\u0148uje naka\u017een\u00e9 entit\u011b\u2013 ba p\u0159\u00edmo j\u00ed p\u0159ikazuje \u2013, aby konzumovala mnohem v\u00edc, ne\u017e sama pot\u0159ebuje, ve slep\u00e9, vra\u017eedn\u00e9 ext\u00e1zi sebest\u0159ednosti. Spisovatel Paul Levy v&nbsp;pokusu naj\u00edt jazyk, kter\u00fd by byl pro z\u00e1padn\u00ed publikum srozumiteln\u00fd, popisuje tento jev jako \u201emalign\u00ed egofrenii\u201c \u2013 jako ego osvobozen\u00e9 od rozumu a omezen\u00ed, kter\u00e9 jedn\u00e1 podle zlovoln\u00e9 logiky rakovinn\u00e9 bu\u0148ky. Budeme pou\u017e\u00edvat term\u00edn <em>wetiko<\/em>, proto\u017ee se jedn\u00e1 o p\u016fvodn\u00ed term\u00edn, kter\u00fd n\u00e1m p\u0159ipom\u00edn\u00e1 moudrost domorod\u00fdch kultur pro ty, kdo maj\u00ed u\u0161i k&nbsp;sly\u0161en\u00ed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em><\/em><em>Wetiko<\/em> m\u016f\u017ee popisovat jak infekci, tak infikovan\u00e9 t\u011blo; \u010dlov\u011bk m\u016f\u017ee b\u00fdt infikov\u00e1n <em>wetiko<\/em> nebo, v&nbsp;p\u0159\u00edpad\u011b velmi pokro\u010dil\u00e9 infekce, m\u016f\u017ee s\u00e1m tuto nemoc zosob\u0148ovat, tzn. b\u00fdt \u201e<em>wetiko<\/em>\u201c. To plat\u00ed i pro kultury a syst\u00e9my; v\u0161echny lze popsat jako <em>wetiko<\/em>, pokud pravideln\u011b tyto vlastnosti projevuj\u00ed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ve sv\u00e9 dnes ji\u017e klasick\u00e9 knize <em>Columbus and Other Cannibals<\/em> (Kolumbus a dal\u0161\u00ed kanibalov\u00e9) popisuje americk\u00fd indi\u00e1nsk\u00fd badatel a historik Jack D. Forbes, jak mezi mnoha domorod\u00fdmi komunitami panovalo v\u0161eobecn\u00e9 p\u0159esv\u011bd\u010den\u00ed, \u017ee evrop\u0161t\u00ed kolonialist\u00e9 byli tak chronicky a jednotn\u011b naka\u017eeni <em>wetiko<\/em>, \u017ee to musela b\u00fdt charakteristick\u00e1 vlastnost kultury, z&nbsp;n\u00ed\u017e poch\u00e1zeli. P\u0159i zkoum\u00e1n\u00ed historie t\u011bchto kultur Forbes s&nbsp;l\u00edtost\u00ed konstatuje: \u201eJe tragick\u00e9, \u017ee historie sv\u011bta za posledn\u00edch 2000 let je z&nbsp;velk\u00e9 \u010d\u00e1sti p\u0159\u00edb\u011bhem epidemiologie nemoci <em>wetiko<\/em>.\u201c<sup>7<\/sup><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">V\u0161ichni se pravd\u011bpodobn\u011b shodneme, \u017ee chov\u00e1n\u00ed evropsk\u00fdch koloniz\u00e1tor\u016f v&nbsp;Severn\u00ed Americe lze ozna\u010dit za kanibalistick\u00e9. Jejich touha po dob\u00fdv\u00e1n\u00ed a hromad\u011bn\u00ed materi\u00e1ln\u00edch statk\u016f byla n\u00e1siln\u00fdm aktem konzumu. Motor invazivn\u00ed kultury vys\u00e1val \u017eivoty a zdroje milion\u016f lid\u00ed a dal\u0161\u00edch zv\u00ed\u0159at a p\u0159em\u011b\u0148oval je na bohatstv\u00ed a moc pro sebe. \u010c\u00edsla jsou st\u00e1le sporn\u00e1, ale po\u010det lid\u00ed zabit\u00fdch p\u0159i \u201ezalo\u017een\u00ed Nov\u00e9ho sv\u011bta\u201c lze bezpe\u010dn\u011b odhadnout na des\u00edtky mili\u00f3n\u016f. \u0160lo bezpochyby o jednu z&nbsp;nejbrut\u00e1ln\u011bj\u0161\u00edch genocid v&nbsp;historii. A dopad na mimolidsk\u00fd \u017eivot byl stejn\u011b rozs\u00e1hl\u00fd. Tyto ohavn\u00e9 \u010diny byly sp\u00e1ch\u00e1ny s&nbsp;mor\u00e1ln\u00ed jistotou, kter\u00e1 racionalizovala ni\u010den\u00ed ve jm\u00e9nu \u201epokroku\u201c a \u201ecivilizace\u201c.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Tato konceptualizace zakr\u00fdv\u00e1 rozsah infekce wetiko v&nbsp;kultu\u0159e vet\u0159elc\u016f. Byli tak zaslepeni sebest\u0159ednou ambic\u00ed, \u017ee nedok\u00e1zali vid\u011bt jin\u00fd \u017eivot jako stejn\u011b d\u016fle\u017eit\u00fd jako ten sv\u016fj. Neschopni p\u0159ekonat ideologick\u00e9 p\u0159edsudky, nedok\u00e1zali vid\u011bt vnit\u0159n\u00ed hodnotu \u017eivota nebo vz\u00e1jemnou prov\u00e1zanost v\u0161ech v\u011bc\u00ed, p\u0159esto\u017ee to byla dominantn\u00ed perspektiva domorod\u00fdch obyvatel, s&nbsp;nimi\u017e se setkali. Zd\u00e1 se, \u017ee jejich schopnost vid\u011bt a pozn\u00e1vat v\u011bci jinak, ne\u017e jak je vid\u011bli oni sami, jim byla od\u0148ata.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Tohle nen\u00ed n\u011bjak\u00e1 protievropsk\u00e1 tir\u00e1da. Je to koneckonc\u016f nemoc, kter\u00e1 se rod\u00ed a kter\u00e1 \u017eije z&nbsp;lidsk\u00e9 psychiky. P\u016fvod <em>wetiko<\/em> <em>kultur<\/em> je v\u0161ak sn\u00e1ze identifikovateln\u00fd.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Memy se mohou \u0161\u00ed\u0159it rychlost\u00ed my\u0161lenky, ale zm\u011bna z\u00e1kladn\u00edch charakteristik kultury vy\u017eaduje cel\u00e9 generace. M\u016f\u017eeme \u0159\u00edci, \u017ee stopy p\u0159esv\u011bd\u010den\u00ed podobn\u00fdch <em>wetiko <\/em>lze vysledovat p\u0159inejmen\u0161\u00edm a\u017e do neolitick\u00e9 revoluce, kdy se lid\u00e9 v&nbsp;\u00darodn\u00e9m p\u016flm\u011bs\u00edci poprv\u00e9 nau\u010dili ovl\u00e1dat sv\u00e9 prost\u0159ed\u00ed pomoc\u00ed toho, co spisovatel Daniel Quinn nazval \u201etotalitn\u00edm zem\u011bd\u011blstv\u00edm\u201c. To jest pomoc\u00ed ust\u00e1len\u00fdch zem\u011bd\u011blsk\u00fdch praktik, kter\u00e9 produkuj\u00ed v\u00edce potravin, ne\u017e je pro populaci nezbytn\u011b nutn\u00e9, a kter\u00e9 pova\u017euj\u00ed zni\u010den\u00ed jak\u00e9hokoli \u017eiv\u00e9ho tvora, kter\u00fd br\u00e1n\u00ed t\u00e9to nadm\u011brn\u00e9 produkci\u2014 a\u0165 u\u017e se jedn\u00e1 o jin\u00e9 lidi, \u201e\u0161k\u016fdce\u201c nebo p\u0159\u00edrodn\u00ed prost\u0159ed\u00ed \u2014 za legitimn\u00ed a mor\u00e1ln\u00ed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">S p\u0159\u00edchodem k\u0159es\u0165anstv\u00ed z\u00edskala tato ran\u00e1 forma logiky <em>wetiko<\/em> zesiluj\u00edc\u00ed s\u00edlu nepopsateln\u00e9ho rozsahu. \u201eUstavme \u010dlov\u011bka \u2026, aby vl\u00e1dl nad mo\u0159sk\u00fdmi rybami i nad nebesk\u00fdmi pt\u00e1ky, nad dobytkem i nad v\u0161\u00ed divokou zv\u011b\u0159\u00ed a v\u0161emi plazy, kte\u0159\u00ed se hem\u017e\u00ed po zemi,\u201c \u0159ekl v&nbsp;Genesis 1:26 nikdo men\u0161\u00ed ne\u017e B\u016fh. Po 8&nbsp;000 letech totalitn\u00edho zem\u011bd\u011blstv\u00ed, kter\u00e9 se pomalu \u0161\u00ed\u0159ilo po cel\u00e9 oblasti, nen\u00ed p\u0159ekvapiv\u00e9, \u017ee se tato logika objevuje i ve svat\u00fdch textech, kter\u00e9 zde vznikly. B\u011bhem dvou set let po Kristov\u011b smrti byla tato logika roz\u0161\u00ed\u0159ena po cel\u00e9 Evrop\u011b pod hrozbou \u0159\u00edmsk\u00fdch me\u010d\u016f. Nen\u00ed n\u00e1hodou, \u017ee proto, aby se k\u0159es\u0165anstv\u00ed mohlo st\u00e1t dominantn\u00edm n\u00e1bo\u017eenstv\u00edm, musel b\u00fdt t\u00e9m\u011b\u0159 zcela zni\u010den st\u00e1vaj\u00edc\u00ed pohansk\u00fd syst\u00e9m v\u00edry, kter\u00fd ch\u00e1pal m\u00edsto \u010dlov\u011bka sp\u00ed\u0161e uvnit\u0159 p\u0159\u00edrody ne\u017e nad n\u00ed.<sup>8<\/sup><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Epidemiologie <em>wetiko<\/em> zanechala jasn\u00e9 stopy sv\u00e9ho p\u016fvodu. I kdy\u017e tento jev nelze patologizovat podle geografick\u00fdch nebo rasov\u00fdch krit\u00e9ri\u00ed, kulturn\u00ed nap\u011bt\u00ed, kter\u00e9 dnes zn\u00e1me, m\u00e1 bezpochyby mnoho sv\u00fdch nejhlub\u0161\u00edch ko\u0159en\u016f v&nbsp;Evrop\u011b. Byly to koneckonc\u016f evropsk\u00e9 projekty \u2013 od osv\u00edcenstv\u00ed p\u0159es pr\u016fmyslovou revoluci a\u017e po kolonialismus, imperialismus a otroctv\u00ed \u2013 kter\u00e9 vyvinuly technologii, je\u017e otev\u0159ela kan\u00e1ly usnad\u0148uj\u00edc\u00ed \u0161\u00ed\u0159en\u00ed kultury <em>wetiko<\/em> po cel\u00e9m sv\u011bt\u011b. T\u00edmto zp\u016fsobem jsme v\u0161ichni d\u011bdici a n\u00e1sledovn\u00edky <em>wetiko<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">V\u0161ichni jsme dnes nositeli <em>wetiko<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><em>Wetiko<\/em><\/strong><strong> kapitalismus: Odhalen\u00ed kontextu<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Nev\u00edm, kdo objevil vodu, ale v\u00edm, \u017ee to nebyla ryba.   &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2013 p\u0159ipisov\u00e1no Marshallu McCluhanovi<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Kdy\u017e z\u00e1padn\u00ed antropologov\u00e9 za\u010dali poprv\u00e9 <em>wetiko <\/em>studovat, domn\u00edvali se, \u017ee se jedn\u00e1 pouze o nemoc jednotlivce a o doslovnou formu kanibalismu.<sup>9<\/sup> V&nbsp;obou p\u0159\u00edpadech, jak ji\u017e bylo \u0159e\u010deno, bylo jejich ch\u00e1p\u00e1n\u00ed pokud ne zcela chybn\u00e9, tak ur\u010dit\u011b omezen\u00e9. Nicm\u00e9n\u011b p\u0159esn\u011b izolovali dv\u011b vlastnosti, kter\u00e9 jsou relevantn\u00ed pro uva\u017eov\u00e1n\u00ed o kultu\u0159e: (1) po\u010d\u00e1te\u010dn\u00ed \u010din, i kdy\u017e byl motivov\u00e1n nutnost\u00ed, vyvol\u00e1v\u00e1 nep\u0159irozenou zbytkovou touhu po <em>dal\u0161\u00edm <\/em>kanibalismu; a (2) hostitelsk\u00fd nositel, kter\u00e9ho nazvali ob\u011bt\u00ed, skon\u010dil s&nbsp;\u201eledov\u00fdm srdcem\u201c \u2013 to znamen\u00e1 jeho schopnost empatie a soucitu mu byla od\u0148ata. &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u010cten\u00e1\u0159 m\u016f\u017ee z&nbsp;t\u011bchto dvou rys\u016f pravd\u011bpodobn\u011b vyc\u00edtit <em>wetiko<\/em> povahu modern\u00edho kapitalismu. Jeho nenasytnou touhu po omezen\u00fdch zdroj\u00edch; jeho lhostejnost k&nbsp;bolesti a utrpen\u00ed skupin a kultur, kter\u00e9 pohlcuje; jeho v\u00edru v&nbsp;konzumaci jako spasitele; jeho p\u0159evl\u00e1daj\u00edc\u00ed posedlost vlastn\u00edm materi\u00e1ln\u00edm r\u016fstem; a jeho virov\u00e9 \u0161\u00ed\u0159en\u00ed po povrchu planety. Je zcela p\u0159esn\u00e9 popsat neoliber\u00e1ln\u00ed kapitalismus jako prim\u00e1rn\u00ed kanibalizuj\u00edc\u00ed s\u00edlu \u017eivota na t\u00e9to planet\u011b. Nen\u00ed to jedin\u00e1 pravda \u2013 kapitalismus tak\u00e9 usnadnil explozi lidsk\u00e9ho \u017eivota a lidsk\u00e9 vynal\u00e9zavosti \u2013, ale kdy\u017e se na n\u011bj pod\u00edv\u00e1me jako na celek, kapitalismus rozhodn\u011b pohlcuje \u017eivotn\u00ed s\u00edlu t\u00e9to planety ve slu\u017eb\u011b sv\u00e9mu vlastn\u00edmu r\u016fstu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Kapitalismus je samoz\u0159ejm\u011b lidsk\u00fd v\u00fdtvor, a proto m\u016f\u017eeme tak\u00e9 \u0159\u00edci, \u017ee jsme fenomen\u00e1ln\u00ed hostitel\u00e9 viru mysli zvan\u00e9ho <em>wetiko<\/em>. Abychom pochopili, co n\u00e1s takov\u00fdmi \u010din\u00ed, je u\u017eite\u010dn\u00e9 se zamyslet nad n\u011bkolika rysy, kter\u00e9 ovliv\u0148uj\u00ed v\u00fdvoj lidsk\u00fdch kultur.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ze soci\u00e1ln\u00edch v\u011bd m\u00e1me desetilet\u00ed d\u016fkaz\u016f, kter\u00e9 popisuj\u00ed, jak vysoce kontextu\u00e1ln\u00ed bytosti jsme. T\u00e9m\u011b\u0159 v\u0161echny aspekty na\u0161eho chov\u00e1n\u00ed, v\u010detn\u011b na\u0161ich mor\u00e1ln\u00edch soud\u016f a limit\u016f, jsou v\u00fdznamn\u011b formov\u00e1ny v&nbsp;reakci na kulturn\u00ed znaky, kter\u00e9 n\u00e1s obklopuj\u00ed. Studie o dobr\u00e9m samarit\u00e1novi nap\u0159\u00edklad ukazuj\u00ed, \u017ee i kdy\u017e jsou lid\u00e9 p\u0159edem nalad\u011bni na my\u0161lenku altruismu, v&nbsp;p\u0159\u00edpad\u011b, \u017ee sp\u011bchaj\u00ed nebo kdy\u017e dojde ke zm\u011bn\u011b kontextu, projdou kolem lid\u00ed v&nbsp;nouzi bez pov\u0161imnut\u00ed.<sup>10<\/sup> A nechvaln\u011b zn\u00e1m\u00e9 experimenty Stanleyho Milgrama ukazuj\u00ed, jak je velk\u00e1 v\u011bt\u0161ina lid\u00ed schopn\u00e1 \u0161okovat jin\u00e9ho \u010dlov\u011bka do t\u00e9 m\u00edry, \u017ee mu mohou zp\u016fsobit smrt, jen proto, \u017ee jim to na\u0159\u00edd\u00ed autorita v&nbsp;b\u00edl\u00e9m pl\u00e1\u0161ti.<sup>11 <\/sup>Jsme skute\u010dn\u011b produktem sv\u00e9ho prost\u0159ed\u00ed, a proto je nevyhnuteln\u00e9, \u017ee ti, kdo \u017eij\u00ed v&nbsp;kultu\u0159e <em>wetiko<\/em>, budou v&nbsp;t\u00e9 \u010di on\u00e9 m\u00ed\u0159e projevovat <em>wetiko<\/em> p\u0159esv\u011bd\u010den\u00ed i <em>wetiko<\/em> chov\u00e1n\u00ed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">P\u0159i pohledu ze \u0161ir\u0161\u00edho kontextu mus\u00edme tak\u00e9 vz\u00edt v&nbsp;\u00favahu samopoh\u00e1n\u011bj\u00edc\u00ed povahu komplexn\u00edch syst\u00e9m\u016f. Jak\u00e1koli \u017eiv\u00e1 s\u00ed\u0165, kter\u00e1 dos\u00e1hne dostate\u010dn\u00e9 slo\u017eitosti, za\u010dne sama sebe organizovat a od tohoto okam\u017eiku bude projevovat instinkt p\u0159e\u017eit\u00ed. V&nbsp;praxi to znamen\u00e1, \u017ee bude sv\u00e9 zdroje rozd\u011blovat tak, aby podporovaly chov\u00e1n\u00ed, kter\u00e9 nejl\u00e9pe napodobuje jej\u00ed vlastn\u00ed logiku a kter\u00e9 zaji\u0161\u0165uje jej\u00ed p\u0159e\u017eit\u00ed.<sup>12<\/sup><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Jin\u00fdmi slovy, jak\u00fdkoli syst\u00e9m, kter\u00fd je dostate\u010dn\u011b infikov\u00e1n logikou <em>wetiko<\/em>, bude odm\u011b\u0148ovat kanibalistick\u00e9 chov\u00e1n\u00ed. Nebo, jak to v\u00fdsti\u017en\u011b vyj\u00e1d\u0159il Jack Forbes: \u201eTi, kte\u0159\u00ed se [v syst\u00e9mu <em>wetiko<\/em>] vy\u0161kr\u00e1bou nahoru, jsou nebo se stanou <em>wetiko<\/em> a pouze udr\u017euj\u00ed syst\u00e9m korupce \u010di \u00fatlaku. Tak\u017ee komunisti\u010dt\u00ed v\u016fdci v&nbsp;Sov\u011btsk\u00e9m svazu byli za Stalina p\u0159inejmen\u0161\u00edm stejn\u011b krut\u00ed, lstiv\u00ed a vyko\u0159is\u0165ovatel\u0161t\u00ed, jako byli jejich car\u0161t\u00ed p\u0159edch\u016fdci. Z\u00edskali \u201emoc\u201c, ani\u017e by zm\u011bnili svou kulturu <em>wetiko<\/em>.<sup>13<\/sup><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">T\u00edm je zaji\u0161t\u011bno, \u017ee z\u00e1kladn\u00ed logika kultur se \u0161\u00ed\u0159\u00ed nap\u0159\u00ed\u010d generacemi i mezi nimi. A vysv\u011btluje to, pro\u010d mocensk\u00e9 elity samy organizuj\u00ed zdroje tak, aby udr\u017eely vysokou m\u00edru kontinuity&nbsp; p\u0159i rozd\u011blen\u00ed moci, pokud toto rozd\u011blov\u00e1n\u00ed \u00fa\u010dinn\u011b slou\u017e\u00ed jejich p\u0159e\u017eit\u00ed a r\u016fstu. Kdy\u017e je tato kontinuita p\u0159eru\u0161ena nebo naru\u0161ena, doch\u00e1z\u00ed k&nbsp;revoluc\u00edm a syst\u00e9m je ohro\u017een.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Jak ale nazna\u010duje v\u00fd\u0161e uveden\u00e1 citace, naru\u0161en\u00ed mus\u00ed nastat na spr\u00e1vn\u00e9 \u00farovni. Pouh\u00e9 nahrazen\u00ed jednoho <em>wetika<\/em> jin\u00fdm na vrcholu jinak nezm\u011bn\u011bn\u00e9 <em>wetiko<\/em> infrastruktury je v&nbsp;podstat\u011b zbyte\u010dn\u00e9. V&nbsp;nejlep\u0161\u00edm p\u0159\u00edpad\u011b to m\u016f\u017ee v\u00e9st ke zm\u00edrn\u011bn\u00ed nejkrut\u011bj\u0161\u00edch hran stroje <em>wetiko<\/em>. V&nbsp;hor\u0161\u00edm p\u0159\u00edpad\u011b to neud\u011bl\u00e1 nic jin\u00e9ho, ne\u017e \u017ee n\u00e1s to odvede od toho, abychom spat\u0159ili skute\u010dnou infekci.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ot\u00e1zka, kter\u00e1 se tedy nab\u00edz\u00ed pro ka\u017ed\u00e9ho, kdo m\u00e1 z\u00e1jem z&nbsp;kultury odstranit infekci <em>wetiko<\/em>, zn\u00ed: kde se v&nbsp;t\u011ble hostitele tato infekce nach\u00e1z\u00ed? V&nbsp;jednom ohledu je <em>wetiko <\/em>nelok\u00e1ln\u00ed, proto\u017ee se jedn\u00e1 o psychick\u00fd jev, kter\u00fd v&nbsp;n\u00e1s v\u0161ech <em>potenci\u00e1ln\u011b <\/em>existuje. Ale i kdy\u017e je d\u016fle\u017eit\u00e9 tohle pochopit, nen\u00ed to cel\u00e1 pravda. Je rovn\u011b\u017e pravda, \u017ee existuje konceptu\u00e1ln\u00ed m\u00edsto, kde se nach\u00e1z\u00ed nejmocn\u011bj\u0161\u00ed logika <em>wetiko<\/em>, a to ji alespo\u0148 teoreticky \u010din\u00ed zranitelnou.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Stejn\u00fdm zp\u016fsobem, jak\u00fdm v\u010del\u00ed kolonie instinktivn\u011b ukr\u00fdv\u00e1 svou kr\u00e1lovnu v&nbsp;nejhlub\u0161\u00edch komnat\u00e1ch \u00falu, tak i komplexn\u00ed adaptivn\u00ed syst\u00e9m ukr\u00fdv\u00e1 svou nejd\u016fle\u017eit\u011bj\u0161\u00ed opera\u010dn\u00ed logiku co nejd\u00e1l od sil, kter\u00e9 ji mohou ohrozit. To znamen\u00e1 dv\u011b v\u011bci: za prv\u00e9, znamen\u00e1 to zakotvit logiku do hlubok\u00fdch pravidel, kter\u00e1 \u0159\u00edd\u00ed celek. A to nejen tuto nebo onu n\u00e1rodn\u00ed ekonomiku, nejen tuto nebo onu vl\u00e1du, ale mate\u0159sk\u00fd syst\u00e9m \u2013 glob\u00e1ln\u00ed opera\u010dn\u00ed syst\u00e9m. A za druh\u00e9 to znamen\u00e1, \u017ee tato pravidla mus\u00ed b\u00fdt vn\u00edm\u00e1na jako co nejv\u00edc nezm\u011bniteln\u00e1 a nevyhnuteln\u00e1.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Jak\u00e1 je tedy tato hlubok\u00e1 logika glob\u00e1ln\u00edho opera\u010dn\u00edho syst\u00e9mu?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Skl\u00e1d\u00e1 se ze dvou \u010d\u00e1st\u00ed. Prvn\u00ed \u010d\u00e1st\u00ed je kone\u010dn\u00fd c\u00edl, kter\u00fd bychom mohli nazvat Hlavn\u00ed sm\u011brnic\u00ed, a kter\u00fd spo\u010d\u00edv\u00e1 jednodu\u0161e ve <em>zvy\u0161ov\u00e1n\u00ed kapit\u00e1lu<\/em>, jak to nazna\u010duje samotn\u00fd term\u00edn kapitalismus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u010casto ho obl\u00e9k\u00e1me do narativu, kter\u00fd \u0159\u00edk\u00e1, \u017ee tvorba kapit\u00e1lu nen\u00ed c\u00edlem, ale prost\u0159edkem, motorem pokroku. To zp\u016fsobuje, \u017ee my\u0161lenka sesazen\u00ed kapitalismu se jev\u00ed jako nebezpe\u010dn\u00e1 a dokonce v&nbsp;rozporu se zdrav\u00fdm rozumem. Pravdou v\u0161ak je, \u017ee jsme vytvo\u0159ili syst\u00e9m, kter\u00fd pen\u00edze um\u011ble pova\u017euje za posv\u00e1tn\u00e9. V&nbsp;t\u00e9to f\u00e1zi historie kapitalismu je \u017eivot ovl\u00e1d\u00e1n kapit\u00e1lem v\u00edc, ne\u017e s\u00e1m ovl\u00e1d\u00e1 s\u00edly kapit\u00e1lu. Pokud pot\u0159ebujete dal\u0161\u00ed d\u016fkaz, sta\u010d\u00ed se pod\u00edvat na to, jak definujeme a m\u011b\u0159\u00edme pokrok: HDP. V\u00edce o tom n\u00ed\u017ee. &nbsp;<br>Pak je tu logika, jak bychom se my, \u017eiv\u00e9 sou\u010d\u00e1sti tohoto syst\u00e9mu, m\u011bli chovat, kterou bychom mohli shrnout n\u00e1sleduj\u00edc\u00edm v\u00fdrokem:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em><\/em><em>Sobectv\u00ed je racion\u00e1ln\u00ed a racionalita je v\u0161e; proto je sobectv\u00ed v\u0161e.<\/em><sup>14<\/sup><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To znamen\u00e1, \u017ee pokud v\u0161ichni up\u0159ednostn\u00edme sami sebe a budeme maximalizovat sv\u00e9 materi\u00e1ln\u00ed bohatstv\u00ed, <em>neviditeln\u00e1 ruka<\/em> (ach, jak l\u00e1kav\u00fd mem!) vytvo\u0159\u00ed rovnov\u00e1\u017en\u00fd stav a \u017eivot v\u0161ude bude lep\u0161\u00ed. Jsme postaveni proti sob\u011b v&nbsp;podob\u011b <em>rozpt\u00fdlen\u00e9ho fa\u0161ismu<\/em>, kdy se uzav\u00edr\u00e1me do kokon\u016f bezprost\u0159edn\u00edch probl\u00e9m\u016f sv\u00e9 vlastn\u00ed situace a konzumujeme, co se d\u00e1.
