We are concerned with developing a way of life that allows the human community to perceive itself as an integral part of a larger integral community of the living Earth - mountains, rivers, forests and plants, animals and birds, sky and stars. We want to revive the awareness of our embeddedness in this larger whole. We believe that without this understanding and without our care for this larger&nbsp;<em>earthly family<\/em>, human society cannot prosper in any way in the future. About walking, pilgrimage and sacred landscapes<\/em>&quot; (S\u010cG Litom\u011b\u0159ice 2005), dedicated to KHM\u00e1ch and CDFriedrich. In 2014, he founded the Wandering University of Nature (PUP) in Pilgrim with Alena Mal\u00edkov\u00e1. He deals with the practice of pilgrimage and organizes the annual May and August PUP wanderings and seminars, including other educational walks (Deep Time Walk) and activities. He deals with the connections between ecology, cosmology and spirituality and the ecological transformation of contemporary culture. She co-founded and collaborates with the Pro p\u016fdu Foundation and the VIKTORINA LOCA Cooperative in P\u0159\u00edbor. Since 2014, she has been participating in the activities of the Pilgrim&#039;s Traveling University of Nature. In the field of agriculture, she considers it necessary <em>\u201cunderstanding food production and consumption as the joint work of all species on the fertility of the biosphere. He studied photography at the Faculty of Art and Design of the University of Prague in \u00dast\u00ed nad Labem. In his environmentally-oriented work, he primarily reflects the relationship between man and nature. He is one of the founders of the Fotograf 07 platform and the independent cultural guide ArtMap. In 2018, she and her friends created the documentary Happy Farmers about an eco-farm at the Plum Village Buddhist monastery in France. This experience directed her towards creative work as a director of ecological videos for the AMPI Association and the Soil Foundation. For some time, she led the promotion of the Alferia publishing house. She collaborates with Jan and Maty\u00e1\u0161 Trnkov (interactive exhibition Zahrada 2) and is dedicated to fundraising for the systemic transformation of education in the Eduzm\u011bna project. His first work of poetry was published under the wings of Pilgrim <em>Many rivers<\/em> (2021), his second book of poems was published by Malvern Publishing House, entitled <em>The last wild embrace<\/em> (2023) and last year published a collection of essays <em>Together, Untamed: Essays from the Living World<\/em> (Seventh Generation 2024). He is currently preparing a third collection of verses for publication. <em>all about the sun<\/em>, the final part of a poetry trilogy. He is also working on an illustrated book <em>The Earth is a purring cat<\/em>, the second book of essays <em>Follow life<\/em> and in stylized topography <em>Second rain<\/em>, in which he draws inspiration from haibun prose. She currently works at the Faculty of Architecture of the Czech Technical University in Prague, where she teaches landscape courses and runs the Atelier Salzmann\/Be\u010dv\u00e1\u0159ov\u00e1, which is dedicated to large-scale landscape projects and the landscape of the border region. She has been involved in the issue of landscape in spatial planning and its adaptation to climate change for a long time. In Slovakia, she founded the Strom \u017eivota movement, the School of Folk Culture in Zaje\u017eov\u00e1 near Zvolen, and initiated the rescue of the \u010ciernohronsk\u00e9 narrow-gauge railway. Today she lives and works in the Brdy forests below the T\u0159em\u0161\u00edn mountain. In his teaching practice, he tries to convey ideas and experiences that affirm the spontaneity and authenticity of the living world. This effort also brought him to Pilgrim. Disillusionment with academic science and some of his own personal experiences led him to develop other, richer, and deeper ways of exploring and cultivating the relationship to the more-than-human world. And also to the realization that reason alone is not enough in this regard. He lives in Pr\u0161tice with his wife and two daughters, one cat and a small garden. He graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts in Brno, Painting II studio of prof. Martin Mainer, and completed his studies in 2012. For him, painting is a lifelong process of learning about the surrounding and inner world. In his paintings, he combines inspiration from near and faraway journeys (painting symposium in Meghalaya, India, Brazil). He also tries to share knowledge and joy from creation within the framework of school class projects, both at his home school in Pr\u0161tice and, for example, at the elementary school in P\u0159erov as an artist in the Creative Partnership project. He is the author of <em>Cosmic conversations<\/em> (Malvern 2016) and <em>Living a cosmic life <\/em>(Pilgrim 2019). In 2019 he was the keynote speaker at the 4th seminar of the Pilgrim University of Nature <em>Living a cosmic life <\/em>at the Dark Sky Center in Gru\u0148 in the Beskydy Mountains.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-media-text alignwide has-media-on-the-right is-stacked-on-mobile\"><div class=\"wp-block-media-text__content\">\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-large-font-size\">Freya Mathews<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Australian ecophilosopher, Associate Professor of Environmental Philosophy at La Trobe University in Melbourne. She is a member of the Australian Academy of Humanities and manages the private biodiversity reserve Barabungle Park in northern Victoria. In her philosophy, based on panpsychism, she explores the possibilities of developing an ecological civilization. Author of the book For Love of Matter (2003); in Czech, her texts have been published in the anthology V\u0161e kole mne jako j\u00e1 \u017eije, \u010d\u00edtli \u2026, in Sedm\u00e1 gener\u00e1cia and on the Pilgrim website. In 2022, she was the keynote speaker at the 7th Wandering University of Nature seminar Praise of the Backlands (on gentle activism, ritual and love of the Earth) in Vysok\u00e1 L\u00edpa, Bohemian Switzerland.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-media-text alignwide has-media-on-the-right is-stacked-on-mobile\"><div class=\"wp-block-media-text__content\">\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-large-font-size\">Andreas Weber<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">German biologist, philosopher and nature writer. He teaches at the University of the Arts Berlin and Bard College Berlin. He focuses on re-evaluating our understanding of the living, asks what life is and what role we play in it, and develops the idea of a new culture and politics of aliveness.
