Hiking from the Rychlebsk\u00e9 Mountains to Kr\u00e1lick\u00fd Sn\u011b\u017en\u00edk and from Kr\u00e1lick\u00fd Sn\u011b\u017en\u00edk to Sn\u011b\u017eka<\/h1>\n\n\n\n

On this journey, we will pass through and experience a total of eight diverse border mountain landscapes: the Rychlebsk\u00e9 Mountains, the Kr\u00e1lick\u00fd Sn\u011b\u017en\u00edk massif, the Orlick\u00e9 Mountains, the Stolowych National Park (Hej\u0161ovin), the Broumovsk\u00e9 St\u011bny, the Ad\u0161pach-Teplice Rocks, the R\u00fdchory and the Krkono\u0161e Mountains.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hiking from Ra\u010d\u00ed \u00fadol\u00ed to Kr\u00e1lick\u00fd Sn\u011b\u017en\u00edk from August 15th to 17th (38 km); hiking from Kr\u00e1lick\u00fd Sn\u011b\u017en\u00edk to Sn\u011b\u017eka from August 17th to 25th (194 km)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

First day on Saturday, August 15 (9.5 \u2013 10 km):<\/h4>\n\n\n\n
Crayfish Valley \u2013 Hranicky<\/strong>: We will set off on our journey after lunch at 2 pm from Ra\u010d\u00ed \u00fadol\u00ed by the Dance Hall. We will set off on The Devil's Pulpits<\/em> and on to ruins of Rychleby castle<\/em> and then along Ka\u0161tanov\u00e1 ale to Red mine<\/em> up to Chapel of St. Roch<\/em>. From here to Nov\u00e9 Vil\u00e9movice<\/em>, where Michal Krist\u00fdnek will introduce us to his ritual site, which he takes care of. Then we will continue to a beautiful corner of the Rychlebsk\u00e9 Mountains, the site of an extinct village Borders<\/em>, near the state border with Poland, where we spend the night.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Second on Sunday, August 16 (20 km):<\/h4>\n\n\n\n
Borders \u2013 Kladsk\u00e9 saddle<\/strong>: From Hrani\u010dky we will take the red route along the state border with Poland to Pointer<\/em> (957 m above sea level), after it we turn green and go over Bordering<\/em> (927 m above sea level) and Anvil<\/em> (989 m above sea level), we cross the state border and enter Poland. We pass through Biala Ledecka to Jivina and from there along the state border to Polish mountain<\/em><\/strong> (1106 m above sea level). From there we will travel to Kladsk\u00fd sedlo and spend the night there.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Third day on Monday, August 17 (9 km):<\/h4>\n\n\n\n
Kladsk\u00e9 saddle \u2013 Kr\u00e1lick\u00fd Sn\u011b\u017en\u00edk<\/strong>: From Kladsk\u00fd saddle<\/em> we will continue following the green sign until Rabbit Snowman<\/em> (1424 m above sea level), which is a total of 9 km. From here, pilgrims who will end their journey here will head to Kr\u00e1l\u00edky or to Old Town<\/em> on the train or bus home. \/\/ Pilgrims who will continue on to Sn\u011b\u017eka will set off the same day from Kr\u00e1lick\u00fd Sn\u011b\u017en\u00edk<\/em> following the green sign on Little Snowman<\/em><\/strong> (1326 m above sea level) see the following invitation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I feel as if I have been re-created from all worries and all woes. What was I tormented by yesterday, how can I not be ashamed of it now? First day on Monday, August 17 (13 km):<\/h4>\n\n\n\n
Rabbit Snowman \u2013 Bialek<\/strong>: Pilgrims who will continue to Sn\u011b\u017eka will Kr\u00e1lick\u00fd Sn\u011b\u017en\u00edk<\/em> they will follow the green sign to Little Snowman<\/em><\/strong> (1326 m above sea level) and Boundary rocks<\/em> (1319 m above sea level) and continue along the green path to the saddle Puchach<\/em> (1108 m above sea level) and from there across the state border following the yellow sign to Black Row<\/em> and across the blue Ostoja intersection<\/em> up to Snieznick\u00e9 Park Krajobrazowy<\/em><\/strong> to the mountain Bialek<\/em> (741 m above sea level), where we will spend the night. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Day two, August 18 (23 km):<\/h4>\n\n\n\n
Bialek\u2013Niemojow<\/strong>: We will come out of Snieznick\u00e9 Park Krajobrazov\u00e9ho<\/em> and we will continue along the blue to Miedzylesie<\/em> and from there continue along the yellow line to the border crossing Adam<\/em>From here we follow the red trail H\u0159ebenovka\u2013Jir\u00e1skov\u00e1<\/em> on the way through Czech Petrovice<\/em> and Sneaky<\/em> except for Earth Gate<\/strong>.<\/em> From here on through Orlick\u00e1 chata<\/em> to Barto\u0161ovice in the Orlick\u00e9 Mountains<\/em><\/strong>. Here we cross the border bridge into Poland and visit the settlement Niemojow<\/em> <\/strong>with romantic castle ruins and the Baroque Church of the Visitation of the Virgin Mary. We spend the night behind the church.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Third day August 19 (25 km):<\/h4>\n\n\n\n
Niemojow \u2013 Velka De\u0161tna<\/strong>: From Niemojowa<\/em> we will go along the river Wild Eagles<\/em> to the settlement Upper Orlice<\/em>where we will visit the freely accessible beautiful Church of St. John of Nepomuk<\/em>From there we will continue to Neratova<\/em><\/strong>, a place of pilgrimage where we will visit the reconstructed originally Baroque Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary<\/em> with an impressive glass roof. From Neratova<\/em> we will follow the yellow at the crossroads Intermountain<\/em> and from there along the red Po trail ridge of the Orlick\u00e9 Mountains<\/em> on Five ways<\/em> and through The Kun\u0161t\u00e1tskop chapel<\/em><\/strong>, hills Capercaillie<\/em> (1041 m above sea level) and Homoli<\/em> (1001 m above sea level) up to Great Rain<\/em><\/strong> (1115 m above sea level), the highest peak of the Orlick\u00e9 Mountains. We will visit a beautiful new lookout tower that was built last year; we will enjoy the beautiful view of the surrounding landscape and spend the night in a meadow by the forest.<\/p>\n\n\n

Day Four August 20 (15 km):<\/h4>\n\n\n\n
Velka De\u0161tn\u00e1 \u2013 Ole\u0161nice in the Orlick\u00e9 Mountains<\/strong>: From Velk\u00e9 De\u0161tn\u00e9<\/em> We will follow the red trail Po ridge of the Otrlick\u00e9 Mountains<\/em> under Mala De\u0161tna<\/em> (1091 m above sea level) on \u0160erlich cottage<\/em> (Masaryk's cottage) and from there through \u0160erlich hill<\/em> (1027 m above sea level), Polomsk\u00fd hill<\/em> (1051 m above sea level), beautiful hill Upper border<\/em> <\/strong>(1084 m above sea level) \u2013 previously one of the most visited hills of the Orlick\u00e9 Mountains \u2013 and Blackberry<\/em> (982 m above sea level) up to Olesnice<\/em> in the Orlick\u00e9 Mountains<\/em><\/strong>where we go out to Feist Hill<\/em> (711 m above sea level) and a lookout tower. We spend the night under the lookout tower.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Day Five, August 21 (25 km):<\/h4>\n\n\n\n
Ole\u0161nice in the Orlick\u00e9 Mountains \u2013 Velk\u00e1 Hej\u0161ovina \u2013 Bo\u017eanovsk\u00fd \u0160pi\u010d\u00e1k<\/strong>: We will leave in the morning Feist Hills<\/em> across the state border to Poland \u2013 via Jerzywice Male<\/em> after yellow to Jawornice<\/em> up to Green People<\/em>where we turn off the red road up the hill Grodczyn<\/em> (803 m above sea level). From here we will continue along the green and then red lines to Kulin<\/em>, Klodzki<\/em> and from there, following the green marked path, we enter the beautiful Park Narodowe Gor Stolowych<\/em><\/strong>. Between the mountains Rogowa Kopa<\/em> (793 m above sea level) and Birthplace<\/em> (849 m above sea level) we enter Karlow<\/em><\/strong>, the original center of this beautiful natural area. From Karlow<\/em> we climb the highest mountain of the Table Mountains Velkou Hej\u0161ovina \/ Szczeliniec Wielki<\/em> <\/strong>(919 m above sea level), where we will see the rock formation "Grandpa's chair<\/em>"and then we will continue through the village Pasterka<\/em> to Mach's Cross<\/em> at the state border, where we enter Bohemia. We will go down to Polick\u00e9 slopes<\/em> under Divine Canine<\/em>where we will spend the night. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Day Six August 22 (26 km):<\/h4>\n\n\n\n
Bo\u017eanovsk\u00fd \u0160pi\u010d\u00e1k \u2013 Sk\u00e1ly castle (Jir\u00e1skovy sk\u00e1ly)<\/strong>: From Polick\u00e9 slopes<\/em> we are going to the crossroads Pan's Cross<\/em> and from there into the interior of the rock formations Bo\u017eanovsk\u00fd \u0160pi\u010d\u00e1k<\/em><\/strong>, highest areas Broumov walls<\/em>; we will climb to its peak 773 m above sea level and to the viewpoint, from where there is a beautiful view of Table Mountains<\/em>, and we will see the rock formations Squirrel<\/em>, Cat<\/em>, Anvil<\/em>, Camel<\/em> and others. We will continue on Green grove<\/em> and continue along the yellow to the top Crowns<\/em> <\/strong>(769 m above sea level) and to the beautiful rock formation Stone gates<\/em><\/strong> under The Great Heap<\/em> (708 m above sea level) From here we head to Hare's Gorge<\/em> and at the crossroads Above the Famous<\/em>Then follow the red (H\u0159ebenovka<\/em>) on Stone Mushrooms<\/em>, Blue stone<\/em>, Lord's Tower<\/em> and Vulture's nest<\/em><\/strong> (702 m above sea level) and from there to Star<\/em> <\/strong>with the Baroque chapel of Our Lady of the Snows by KIDientzenhofer. From Stars<\/em> we will follow the red line through Hlavnov<\/em> to the beautiful Table Mountain Ostash<\/em> <\/strong>(700 m above sea level) with fantastic rock formations. From here we will continue along Cat Rocks<\/em> over Grandfather<\/em> and Maple<\/em> to the Jir\u00e1sek Rocks with the castle Rocks<\/strong><\/em> and the castle Bischofstein<\/em>We spend the night here. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Day Seven August 23 (24 km):<\/h4>\n\n\n\n
Hr\u00e1dek Sk\u00e1ly \u2013 Trutnov- Violetiny<\/strong>: In the morning we will go up to the rock lookout tower Stork<\/em> (786 m above sea level) and from there we follow the green and then the yellow path into the interior Adrspach Rocks<\/em><\/strong>. Then we go down the blue and green paths to the village Janovice<\/em> and continue along the red line to Radvanic<\/em>From here we will continue under the hill Zaltman<\/em> (740 m above sea level) along the \u010capek brothers' trail<\/em> up to Deadlines<\/em>. We will go through Trutnov-Po\u0159\u00ed\u010d\u00ed<\/em> and following the yellow we will reach the suburban village Violets<\/em>, and we spend the night behind her in the forest.<\/p>\n\n\n

Day 8, August 24 (25 km):<\/h4>\n\n\n\n
Trutnov-Violotiny-Mala Upa<\/strong>: From Violets<\/em> we will take the yellow and then the red (Cesta brat\u0159\u00ed \u010capek\u016f) through Beech tree<\/em>, Vebrovka<\/em>, Castle Hill<\/em> (635 m above sea level), Stachelberg Fortress<\/em>, Dvorsky forest<\/em> (1036 m above sea level) and R\u00fdchora hut<\/em><\/strong> and then along the yellow until Horn\u00ed Mar\u0161ov<\/em><\/strong>We will explore the village (the beautiful Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary), have lunch and continue along the blue, yellow and red paths through Lower Lyse\u010diny<\/em> and Upper Lyse\u010diny<\/em> to Mal\u00e9 \u00dapy<\/em><\/strong>We will spend the night here on the edge of the forest in a meadow, or we will stay in a guesthouse. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Day Nine August 25 (16 km):<\/h4>\n\n\n\n
Mala Upa \u2013 Snezka (Pec pod Snezkou)<\/strong>: From Mal\u00e9 \u00dapy<\/em> we will follow the yellow to Upper Mal\u00e9 \u00dapy<\/em> and on to Svorowa Mountain<\/em> (1411 m above sea level) and from there follow the red line to Snow White<\/em> <\/strong>(1603 m above sea level): length 9 km. (Alternative route<\/strong>: we'll sleep over in Horn\u00ed Mar\u0161ov<\/em>from where we will set off the next day Snow White<\/em> over Lower Mala Upa<\/em>, Sagasser's huts<\/em> and Rose Hill<\/em>: length 14 km.) On Sn\u011b\u017eka we will meet our fellow pilgrims, led by Vlado Dr\u00e1bek, who will arrive on Sn\u011b\u017eka as part of the M\u00e1chov "Krkono\u0161e pilgrimage" from Prague. Together we will then descend along the blue trail to Giant mine<\/em> and on until Furnaces under Sn\u011b\u017ekou<\/em><\/strong>from where we will return to Prague by bus. <\/p>\n\n\n
